1905 of birth, native of village Khlevnoe of Khlevnoe district of the Voronezh region, from the peasants - poor men, member of CPSU since 1927.

Kholodov T. S. his labor activity begins with age 16. At first worked ordinary miner; 1927 he was accepted as member communist's party, and in 1930-1931 has ended party school, then worked by the editor of the newspaper "Miner".

Kholodov have been worked as party' manager of communist party central committee on mine "Vorovski" since 1939 until German occupation Shakhty city.

Within Patriotic war, at approach of parts of the Soviet army, Kholodov was left in enemy rear, as the secretary underground district committee of a party with the purpose of organization partisan's group.

Together with Kholodov for struggle with intruders were left communists Gudkov N.I., Phisunov N.A. and others, which have blown up the mine and prepared the population to organized resistance.

In July, 1942, before German introduction in Shakhty city, Kholodov has given the task to Gudkov N.I. to organize evacuation of the population, collective-farm stock and cattle into deep of country so that they have not got to enemy.

Kholodov has left for the river of Don in farm Kuznetsovski, district of Semikarakorsk of the Rostov region, having executed the task on explosion of mine "Vorovski" and, disappearing there in a building of a steam mill, has organized partisan group for struggle with authorities of intruders.

In September, 1942 German retaliatory group SD in Shakhty city through the secret agent of police Tabunshchikov knew about a site of Kholodov's group.

In the same month, traitor Tabunshchikov with two policeman has arrived on a steam mill, arrested Kholodov and delivered him in Shakhty city in SD, where he contained some days. Kholodov subjected crucifying.

On September 16, 1942 Kholodov by Gestapo workers was taken out to anti-tank tear near station Kamenolomni and shootout.
