Gudkov Nikita served the sailor on ironclad "Potiomkin" and in 1905 participated on it in rebellion.

Under the order of party manager CC RCP (b) Kholodov on mine of a name "Vorovski", Gudkov together with the son Nikolai at the approach of german-fascist armies to Shakhty city left in a vicinity of city, organized evacuation of the population, collective-farm property in depth of the country.

Gudkov has remained together with manager CC RCP (b) Kholodov, communist Phisunov N.A. and others with the special mission on organization of partisan group in seized by German Shakhty city. They have blown up mine "Vorovski" so German does not have it, in neighboring areas of city organized the population for struggle with German-fascist intruders.

In October 1942 Gudkov N.I. seized by Gestapo and shout out on mine "Krasin".
