He was born in 1919, in city Aleksandovsk-Grushevski. He studied in high school #9. In 1941 he has left as volunteer in partisan group.

Partisan groups headed by Galushkin 27 echelons have undermined and have destroyed 29 steam locomotives, 450 cars, and lot of military engineering, have killed more than 1000 soldiers and officers of the German army. Have destroyed in ambushes and have undermined on mines 4 tanks, 17 tractors, 33 motor vehicles.

On June 14, 1944 at performance of the government mission, Galushkin have lost by death brave.

For heroic feats shown at performance of the special missions in rear of the enemy, November 5, 1944 to him appropriated a rank of the Hero of the Soviet Union.
