Aleksandr Vasilievich Shlepov was born 22.07.1901 year, in village Miakinino of district Tarusa Kaluga' area, in family of the peasants.

1921-1926 he studied at medical faculty of the North-Caucasian medical university (Rostov-on-Don). He is first among the trauma-orthopedist the rank of the Hero of a Socialist labor, deserved doctor of RSFSR. Aleksandr Vasilievich had no a scientific degree, but in miner's cities, Honourable citizen which one he was, many called him "professor".

Aleksandr Vasilievich Shlepov has died on March 15, 1987, on 87-th year of life.
