Gennady Frolkov was born on December 19, 1937 in Frolkov' family in Enakievo city (Ordghonikidze city before 2 world war) of Donetsk region.
The children's home, in which one Gennady Frolkov' the mum worked was evacuated in Sari - Agach (near Tashkent city - Uzbekistan) and they were evacuated with the children's home. At once after redemption of native city, they have returned.
City is in ruins, famine.
However, mines and factory were having earned. Gennady Frolkov says- there was a joyful feel of life.
1945 has arrived in school #2. 1957 Gennady Frolkov went to the mother, she in that time worked on building Tsimliansk' of a hydro node, and from 8 to 10 classes studied in Novosolenovsk' high school. Novosolenovsk - worker' settlement of the builders between present Tsimliansk and Volgodonsk. Then in place of present Volgodonsk there was a steppe, and in village Shukovskaia, where now is Rostov' NPP, he with the friend have been fishing.
At school, where studied Gennady, the teachers worked from Moscow, Rostov, Leningrad (St.-Petersburg nowadays), at sport community "Energy" was a yacht club there.
With concerts, there came stars of those years: Shulghenko, Aleksandrovich, Reizen, Tarapun'ka and Shtepsel (Tonkov and Berezin). As said Gennady Danilovich: "Life beat by the key... and not on a head" (Russian word game: key as key and key as water jet).
In 1956 Gennady arrives in Novocherkassk polytechnic institute (NPI) on mining faculty. Has found still student's uniform: cap with hammers and gold epaulets with a placard "NPI".
1961 he has ended institute. Degree work wrote in city of Shakhty, since the developers and builders have replaced closer to enterprises, having constructed NPI Shakhty' branch (SBNPI).
He was directed to in Krasnodonetsk' mine management, on mine over-category on gas - as master-miner production of a lease.

By reviewing a problem has appeared, that in the given problem worked very many people clever and famous - A.A. Skochinski, A.I. Karpov, A.V. Dokukin, G.D. Lizin, I.L. Etingher, O.C. Chernov, A.T. Airzni and 34 doctors of sciences, 170 candidates, 860 scientific employees without degrees in 25 branch and educational institutes (Moscow mining, Leningrad mining, Dnepropetrovsk mining, Donetsk mining etc.). However, the problem remained opened, i.e. the nature of ejections it was not become clear. More than 40 hypotheses featured the phenomena, but the ejections have been prolonging with frequency, about 270 times per one year.

In 1975 defends a candidate thesis and prolongs studies. In 1985 has transferred to work in MakSRI. 1995 became the director Shakhty's branch of MakSRI, and since 1997 - director Shakhty's center of EastSRI.
The transferring in MakSRI has allowed finish logical completion the principally new concept about a nature both bursts of coal and gas, to offer solutions of prediction these based on a method EPR (electron paramagnetic resonance). The engineering solutions on safety of mining operations solved based on the new concept essentially improve profitability and safety of developments of coalfields.
Behind him more then 60 scientific proceedings, monograph, involvement in international workshops. Now, Gennady Frolkov is prolongs to work on a scientific field.
Headed by him Shakhty's center of EastSRI will carry out scientific surveys on mines of East Donbass. Forecasting techniques of sudden ejections, which under the right can our scientist and we together with him is proud, will be applied are not fully or will not be used at all.
It is bound that to collective of the scientists under guiding Gennady Frolkov was not possible finally to complete works, bound with issue of making prototypes of machinery permitting to realize prediction immediately in places of a coal extractions, opening-up of gallery. The reason is known - they have no money.
The state does not invest these developments, the plants of a mining industry have a lot of other cares.
In the total: the bursts and detonating are prolonged, the people perish, the measures on safety of mining works carrying out on traditional, years checked, method of applications.
