This section presented by some facts from life of Shakhty city: about the first inhabitants, about a history of its foundation, some statistical data.
As sources of these information items there were the books about city, materials of a city historical museum, some documents of municipality of city have used.
Unfortunately, all archives of Shakhty city were lost within Great Patriotic War, when the city was grasped by the German armies (they were destroyed intentionally or have burned down in a fire of war, I do not know).
The employees of city museum tells, that all historical material about city and everything, that is connected to it, collected on archives of other cities and settlements of region: Novocherkassk, Rostov - on-Don, st. Starocherckasskaya, others.
There is some intrigue:
They say, before Great Patriotic War the man in a settlement Ayutinsckiy, on a surname Krasnianscki (name lived, a patronymic are lost), and enthusiasm him was work with the documents of city archive (on a history Don' Cossacks, not official, but collected by him personally).
This man was engaged on the sly, and here boom - war. He has caught in hands of the German intelligence service. They take him away in Rostov - on-Don and force to work with the documents, which were assembled by him, and also to be engaged in restoration of city archive (city archive to the that moment was already destroyed).
He, certainly, worked with the archive.
Then cities Rostov-on-Don and Shakhty were released by the Soviet army. And this man, naturally, has caught in a field of sight, and then and in hands of NKVD. Him (I think) slightly kicked, accused that he worked on Germany... Then have shot.
The archive collected by him has disappeared at once after city got free. Have taken away it Germans or this man has cover it, or it have been transferred to somebody, or any another - is not clear.
Nevertheless, today, began to appear gradually archival documents, which Rostov' museum workers have determined as the documents from archive of this man - Krasnianski.
Where from they have appeared? Where were kept all of this time? Who was their keeper? Where are other documents? How much should pass time, to all of them were issued?
The answers to these questions will be give with other people and other time, probably...
